Owner/ Founder of The Wash House
Professional Dog Groomer
As a German Shepherd owner, he has developed skills to look after the needs of this breed. He also specialises in giant breeds such as St Bernard’s and Newfoundland’s. Lewis lives in Clarkston, Glasgow with his wife and young family. He enjoys playing golf when not walking his dogs and is a member of the New Club in St Andrews. He is also a keen spectator of football and rugby. Lewis looks forward to saying hello and welcoming you and your dog to the Wash House soon.
Lewis is the founder of The Wash House and established the business to offer a contemporary experience for dog owners and of course the most important customers, the dogs themselves! No mention of bubbles at The Wash House, rather a grown up, peaceful, professional environment with a highly experienced team to ensure the best possible service and a relaxed experience for dogs and their owners. Lewis is a dedicated, professional groomer who is happy to look after any dog, large or small.

I live in Motherwell and starting my dog grooming journey with Canine Cottage. I have completed my Level 2 City & Guilds Certificate in Dog grooming, including animal first aid training. I decided to go into grooming as I have always loved dogs and wanted to make it my life’s passion by working with them! My favourite dog to groom is a labradoodle but I do love a good de-shed! Looking forward to meeting all the new dogs coming in!

Dog obsessed my whole life and lucky to be able to say that working with dogs is now my job! I have 10 years of experience working with clients and understanding their needs and can now transfer that experience paired with my qualification in to understanding what our clients want for their dogs! I hold a level 2&3 City and Guilds qualification in Dog Grooming which I completed at Scotgroom and have previous experience working at Dogs Trust. My favourite breeds to groom are Doodles, Schnauzers or anything with a long or short split brow!
